The pickup team and the delivery team both greeted me and then demanded to know how much they would be tipped before any work was to done.

The original customer service contact was so very friendly and accommodating. And the original quote was very low. Around $1500.00. Which I understood would be adjusted somewhat after the truck was loaded.

Once it was loaded I was told my belongings would be delivered on Sept. 14.

I went to my new home to wait for the truck. Slept in a hotel so I would be in town. When they did not arrive, I reached out to customer service. The kind, friendly associate was not a rude woman who advised me per the contract they had 30 days to deliver my delivery my belongings and I should just wait on a call. They would calm the day before. I returned to living in another state with family. In Sept 22 I drove to Arkansas to check on my home. During lunch, I received a call my belongings would arrive in 2 hours. When I ask why I wasn't called before, ",not their job ". And when I was what would have been the result had I not been in AR, they had not idea and had no contingency plan.

All of my furniture was scratched, dented, corners knocked off. Glasses broken, pottery broken, leg missing from my grandmother's cedar chest. The ladders and hand trucks were not delivered.

The claim forms were completed. They wanted purchase receipts for every piece of furniture. I had photos, but since some were handmade antiques.......

My move included assembling my furniture. They said they didn't have tools. So my headboard, chest and hall tree and still in pieces. The company offered me $75.00 to cover damages, broken, missing inventory and furniture not being reassembled. I am 67 and disabled. $75 doesn't even cover getting someone to assemble my furniture. Much less the 5 foot ladder, 4 ft step ladder and hand trucks that were lost in delivery.

This company is top notch, no hiddin fees, very fast & professional. I have moved seven times in the last 20 years, this company is the best I've seen. They loaded into their truck in less than an hour. To no fault of their own their truck broke down and they were stuck on the road for 4 hours, anybody else would have said sorry we can't deliver today but they stuck with it the three guys Matt,Tommy and Johnny had to unload their truck into another truck and still delivered and set everything up in record time. if you're looking for a mover, hands down this is the company to go with. Communication was also great. I can go on and on raving about fairway moving company, 5 stars all around..
